Journey to the Magical World of Cappadocia

Our Turkish guests travel from Istanbul by comfortable coach on Friday evening; international guests travel by VIP van, and those arriving by air are met directly at the airport. On Saturday morning we start with a walk in the Ihlara Valley, carved by the Melendiz stream, among rock-cut churches such as the Snake Church, known for the serpents of its Last Judgement scene, stop at the Narlıgöl crater lake and descend into an underground city. After the views of Uçhisar and Pigeon Valley we check in and rest; in the evening those who wish can join a Turkish night.

On Sunday those who wish can float over the fairy chimneys in a hot-air balloon at sunrise. After breakfast we visit the rock-cut churches of the Göreme Open Air Museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the capped fairy chimneys of Paşabağ, the imaginative rock shapes of Devrent, Ürgüp and the Three Beauties. Towards evening we shop in Avanos, the pottery town, and set off home.

One night’s hotel accommodation with dinner and breakfast (half board), excursions, guiding and insurance are included; for international guests, VIP van transport and flights are also included.
