Cappadocia Tour

Day 1: HACI BEKTAŞ-İ VELİ – IHLARA VALLEY – UNDERGROUND CITY

We meet at the airport according to the departure time of our flight in the morning. We are moving to Kayseri by plane.

First, we depart from Kayseri Airport to Hacı Bektaşi Veli Museum with our private vehicle. Here, Balım Sultan Tomb, Güvenç Abdal Tomb, Hacı Bektaş Veli Tomb, Kırklar Square, Pir House, Third Courtyard Pantry House, Meydan House, Meydan House Mosque, Soup House, Second Courtyard (Dergah Courtyard), First Courtyard (Nadar Courtyard) are visited. We conclude this part of our trip.

Then we go to Ihlara Valley, a natural wonder valley formed by the Melendiz Stream. During our short walking tour in the valley, we visit the Ağaçaltı and Yılanlı Churches. Then we visit Derinkuyu Underground City (Kaymaklı Underground City or Özkonak Underground City), a marvel of engineering, where thousands of people fleeing from enemy raids can live for months.

At the end of the tour in the evening, we go to our hotel.

DAY 2: GOREME OPEN AIR MUSEUM – WINE VALLEY – AVANOS – ÇAVUŞİN – PAŞABAG – GÜVERCİNLİK VALLEY

On the second day, early in the morning before breakfast, guests who wish can participate in the Balloon Tour or ATV Tour activities.

After breakfast at our hotel, we visit the Göreme Open Air Museum in Göreme Valley. We visit the Elmalı, Yılanlı, Barba and Tokalı Churches.

We see the Three Beauties Fairy Chimneys, the symbol of Cappadocia. Afterwards, we take a photo break in Güvercinlik Valley. We visit Avanos, through which Kızılırmak passes, and the pottery workshops in Avanos and get information about pottery making.

We take a photo break in Paşabağ (Monks Valley), where you will see the most beautiful examples of multi-headed fairy chimneys.

Çavuşin Village, Develi Valley, Onyx Stone Workshop are among the places we will visit.

After completing this part of our tour, we return to our hotel.

Turkish Nights of Cappadocia is a popular evening event. Those who wish can participate in this night event as an extra.

DAY 3: SİNASOS (MUSTAFAPAŞA) – KAYSERİ – HONAT HATUN TOMB – DÖNER KÜMBET – KAYSERİ HIGH SCHOOL – OLD KAYSERİ NEIGHBORHOOD – GÜPGÜPOĞLU MANSION

We start our tour right after we have our breakfast at our hotel.

First, we visit Şakirpaşa Madrasa (panoramic), Mosque Kebir, Maraşoğlu Bridge, old residential areas and mansions in Sinasos (Mustafapaşa), famous for its old mansions. We take a short break and move to Kayseri. Roman Emperor III in Kayseri. Kayseri Castle (İç Kale, Jewelers’ Bazaar, Kale Mosque), which was built during the reign of Gordianus (238–244), the Clock Tower in Cumhuriyet Square, the Mahberi Honat Hatun Complex, the Döner Vault and the Historical Kayseri High School, We see the Güpgüpoğlu Mansion (Ethnography Museum) (National Struggle Museum).

We go to the recently restored Old Kayseri Neighborhood and drink our tired coffee.

Then we move to the airport to return to Istanbul.
